This is an adorable addition to the webkinz line and is a great life like looking toy to play with - very soft. I did not think I was going to want a German Sheppard but when I saw it in person it was much cuter than I had thought it would be and is just as cute and playful and fun online. It is a great addition for anyone who likes webkinz. Great for boys and girls and super for gift giving. Great bargain as it is 2 toys in one!!
These toys are educational and the fun never ends. You get not only a plush toy but a virtual one as well that your child (or you) can feed, dress and interact with. I have had to wash a few of these in the washing machine and they hold up pretty well. I don't throw it in the dryer, but let it air dry instead and that perks them right up. My children range from 1-11 and they all enjoy these pets so it's a good gift idea for a child whom you aren't sure of their interests.
Make sure your child is ready for a Webkinz before buying this or any other one! My son was 6, but he wasn't ready when he got one last year - he was completely overwhelmed by the website and very disappointed. So we put it away until now, when he's more mature and has seen others play online. But little did I know that use of the website expires after a year! They send you a notice - but only on the site - so if you're not on the site, you don't know. There's a one month grace period, and then that's it - you can no longer use that Webkinz pet online. Now it is simply a so-so stuffed animal Their answer? Buy another one!
